After completing her LLB in 1990, Mandiza began her career as a candidate attorney at Webber Wentzel Attorneys. She joined Transnet in 1994 and was appointed Executive Officer of Finance and Information Technology in 1996. In 1998, Mandiza joined Rand Water, where she is currently General Manager of Corporate Services. Her portfolio includes legal services, risk management and corporate social investment. Mandiza is a board member of African Life, Company Secretary and Executive Committee member of the National Black Management Forum and a member of the African Leader Advisory Board.
